General Description
This highly motivated individual will report directly to the CEO. The Director of Marketing & Business Development is responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction and execution in an effort to grow WDB’s revenues and profitability through the acquisition of new accounts and growth of current accounts. In addition to lead prospecting, the Director of Marketing & Business Development will work with WDB account team to retain accounts and identify strategic growth opportunities while, providing direction, insight and support in an effort to grow those accounts.
Responsibilities
- Networking and prospecting for new leads and clients
- Upselling current clients
- Qualifying and selling to incoming WDB leads
- Setting up meetings and presentations
- Concept development and research for pitches and proposals
- Documenting of proposals and contracts
- Nurturing leads and closing sales
- Implementing accounts and encouraging the growth of those accounts
- Relationship management of accounts
- Required Competencies
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from strategy to close
- Strong acumen in the digital marketing arena including SEO/SEM digital media, web development, and email marketing
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and analytical
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing
- Experience with nurturing and prospecting for new leads and clients
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to drive the sales process from strategy to close
- US Citizen or Green Cardholder
